Disneyland by Bus

Here is how to get to Disneyland in Los Angeles from Venice Beach Hostel for only $3. (Exact fare required.)

1. Go to the MTA bus stop at the Venice Post Office, at the Southwest corner of Pacific and Windward. To walk there:

   Exit the hostel and turn right. Cross Windward St. (to get to the Global Gossip cafe), then cross Pacific Ave. and continue walking 1 block East to the traffic circle. Then turn right -- the bus stop is a covered bench in front of the building.

   Board the MTA #33 "Union Station" bus to downtown Los Angeles. This bus comes every 30 minutes.

2. Ask the driver for the Day Pass ticket which costs $3.
3. Also ask where to get off for a transfer to MTA #460 for Disneyland. The ride to the transfer point takes around 60 minutes.
4. At the transfer point (Main St. and 6th in Los Angeles), get off and wait on 6th Street for the MTA #460 "Disneyland / Anaheim" bus.
5. Ride the MTA #460 bus to the Disneyland Hotel.

You can return to Venice Beach Hostel in the same way. This trip takes around 2 hours.
